Day 1: ARRIVAL TO CUSCO, CITY TOUR
Your journey begins upon landing at Cusco’s international airport. Our MACHUPICCHU PERU JOURNEYS representative will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel, providing you with useful information about Cusco and Peru along the way. After checking in and enjoying a light lunch, you’ll embark on the Cusco City Tour.
Around 1:30 pm, our tour leader and transport will pick you up for an afternoon exploration. You’ll visit archaeological parks such as the impressive Sacsayhuaman,the Temple of the Sun, Q’enqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay, The Cusco half-day tour concludes around 06:30 pm, with a drop-off at main square of Cusco.

Day 2: Machu Picchu Tour
Embark on your Machupicchu adventure early in the morning. Depending on train availability, the transport will collect you from the hotel, with pick-up times varying between 04 am and 07 am, then two-hours driving from Cusco city to the Ollantaytambo train station.
Bring your original Passport is essential, as the train and Machupicchu tickets are personal. Before boarding the train, your Passport and tickets will be verified. The train journey lasts about 01:45 hours, reaching Aguas Calientes town. From there, a 30-minute bus ride takes you to Machupicchu.
Machupicchu Guided Tour.
Your tour leader will first guide you to the classic panoramic view of Machu Picchu. Be sure to capture all the necessary photos, as returning to this spot isn’t feasible. Then, the tour leader will commence a 3-hour exploration of the significant sectors and temples, including the main square, Temple of the Sun, Temple of the 3 windows, and the Temple of the Condor. The tour concludes with free time for personal exploration and photography.
Afterward, board the bus back to Aguas Calientes. You Will have some time free for luch time.
Around 03:00 pm, make your way to the train station for your return journey. Your train will take you straight to Ollantaytambo Train station. Outside the station, our transport will be ready to drive you back to Cusco city.

Day 3: LAST DAY, TRANSFER TO CUSCO AIRPORT
The final day of your journey arrives. Our transport will collect you from the hotel, transferring you to the airport. Timing-wise, we’ll ensure you’re at the airport 02:30 hours before your flight departure.
